Guide for sustainable procurement (2015)

Publikationen

The guide for sustainable procurement is a practical tool for communities, public entities and private companies. It allows them to initiate or set up a procurement policy, which integrates sustainable development criteria.

The guide not only presents the criteria to consider for the preparation of tenders or other technical documents, but also explains the reasons, environmental and social challenges that led to the elaboration of these criteria.  The Cantons of Vaud and Geneva, the Swiss Confederation and the Association of Genevan Municipalities have supported the creation of the guide.

The latest version of the guide, which Sofies contributed to, includes a short and a detailed version. It is available for free on www.achats-responsables.ch.
