Project dates

2015 – 2016

Objectives and outcomes

  • The projects aim is to harmonize the agricultural interest of the 13 affected communities with all current space-relevant projects, in particular the extension of the highway N1, nature and environmental conservation projects and the spatial planning.
  • Doing so, a special focus is put on agricultural production base conservation, protection of the cultural and natural landscape diversity and sustainable land use. Thereby, loss of valuable agricultural land should be compensated and progressive operating designs should be supported.
  • The Agricultural Planning around the N1 highway delivers explicit measures, which are integrated in the federal project before public disclosure, and presents an agricultural strategy with corresponding tools towards a sustainable development.
