Career

Having grown up in Madrid and Miami, Amba completed her BA in International Relations at King’s College London specialising in the implementation of global environmental initiatives. Her research has focused on the balance between socio-economic and ecological goals, exploring the impact of REDD+ and marine protected areas on communities and relevant stakeholders.

Amba has amassed practical policy experience working with the Mexican Embassy on GHG emissions reductions in the maritime industry in collaboration the International Maritime Organisation. She also is familiarised with private-sector driven environmental initiatives, having worked with a forestry consultancy on sustainable timber and is strongly motivated to help cultivate CSR in companies.

Amba will reinforce our Managing Sustainability and Secondary Resources communities.


… Outside the office

Amba loves travelling and spending time in the ocean, scuba diving being a recent addition to her hobbies. When in London and away from the beach, concerts, museums and parks keep her busy.
