Ever since working on the electrochemical reduction of CO2 during an exchange program in Tokyo for his Master’s thesis, David has been a Research Assistant for Prof. Suren Erkman of the Industrial Ecology Group of UNIL. Their work together allowed David to grow interested in the field of CCUS, which eventually prompted him to participate in a competition launched by British Airways in the scope of sustainable aviation fuels, where his colleague and himself placed 2nd. By joining Sofies where he works on the Life Cycle Assessments of various transportation fuels, David seeks to valorize the knowledge he has acquired these past few years.

… Outside the office

During his personal time, David enjoys going to the gym, climbing, and playing guitar.
