Career
In 2015, Maëlle graduated from the University of Zurich with a Master’s degree in Geography. After an internship in the area of soil protection, she worked on projects concerning Integrated Land Consolidation and Land Improvement at the department of agriculture in the Canton of Aargau. Besides technical questions she coordinated the needs of agriculture, environment and authorities regarding to land use and spatial planning.
Because of her strong interest in environmental challenges and climate change, she is currently doing a Master of Advanced Studies in Environmental Management.
Maëlle joined Sofies in 2021 where she is responsible for the development of rural areas as well as for the sustainable use of natural resources such as soil and water. She collaborates on projects related to strategies for climate change adaption with a focus on agriculture.

Maëlle likes spending her free time outside. She loves jogging, walking and swimming or enjoys a delicious meal with her friends.
