Rossella graduated in Environmental engineering in 2011 at Politecnico di Milano. Thanks to her studies she had the opportunity to combine her passion and interests on environmental awareness, with her job.
She started her career applying the Life Cycle Thinking approach in the waste management Industry, especially in domestic waste, and electronic waste. Currently she works as a freelance consultant for many clients in Italy, in the area of environmental certifications, like Environmental Product Declaration, Cradle to Cradle, etc, in addition to waste management and circular economy. She also works as Assistant Lecturer in Politecnico di Milano, with classes on Life Cycle Assessment, Energy Efficiency, Waste Management, Design for Environment; supporting learning using exercises and business games for students.
She has been the General Manager of the World Manufacturing Forum, a Foundation, based in Italy but with a worldwide scope, that aims to enhance the industrial culture worldwide as enabler of societal prosperity and sustainable development. She has around 10 years’ experiences in the environmental sustainability field and Life Cycle Assessment.
Rossella collaborates with Sofies as an international expert on projects in the area of sustainable production and Life Cycle Thinking.

Rossella loves to spend time with Oliver and Diana, her two cocker spaniels. When she is not in the mountain with her cockers, she loves to spend time in the deep sea, as a diver and freediver.
