The potential impacts of climate change vary for each geographic and socio-economic context. To identify and analyze the risks and opportunities associated with these changes, the Federal Office for the Environment (FOEN) has launched a pilot study including the Cantons of Geneva (and the territory of the Greater Geneva) and Basel-City, two major Swiss cities.

In Geneva, the study was conducted by Infras, Sofies, Egli Engineering and Indiggo, in partnership with state departments of Geneva and the Grand Geneva.
