12th Industrial Symbiosis Research Symposium – Activity report

The Industrial Symbiosis Research Symbiosis symposium (ISRS) is a unique opportunity to share recent information on state-of-the-art projects in relation with research activities worldwide.

This 12th edition was held in Lausanne, Switzerland, and has brought together researchers and practitioners from 19 countries and 5 continents. The main outcomes of the symposium are presented in an activity report, which includes a summary and the analysis of the last industrial symbiosis development in every participant country.

The Industrial Ecology Group of the University of Lausanne (IDYST Institute) hosted the ISRS 2015 workshop in collaboration with the Industrial Society for Industrial Ecology (ISIE) and the Swiss Federal Office of the Environment (FOEN).
