Career

Federico, Mechanical Engineer as background, holds a PhD in Management, Economics and Industrial Engineering from Politecnico di Milano University. In the past 15 years he focused his research and consultancy on e-waste management and industrial eco-efficiency. Federico has been working or coordinated several studies for EU Commission on e-waste and focused in the last 5 years on capacity building activities in developing countries, working with various UN agencies and developing training programs for policymakers and entrepreneurs. Between 2008 and 2011 Federico has also been working as Quality & Operations Manager in Italian take-back system, heavily involved in nation-wide start up of take back scheme for e-waste, portable batteries, lead acid batteries and other industrial waste streams.

… Outside the office 

Federico loves mountain-biking and freeriding (particularly deep & fresh powder), enjoys movies and spending time in his garden. He is passionate about traveling, particularly enjoying different cultures and remote areas.
