Guillaume started his academic career at the University of Fribourg with a bachelor’s degree in social anthropology with a final work on local contract farming. He then undertook a master’s degree in environmental sciences at the University of Geneva. In particular, he worked on the social aspects of electricity demand management.

In 2021, Guillaume was able to put his knowledge at the service of the energy transition during an internship at the industrial services of Geneva. He worked on the theme of energy sufficiency.

Guillaume joined DSS+ in May 2022 with his methodological knowledge in qualitative research and his understanding of energy systems in their technical, social and economic dimensions.

… Outside the office

Outside of work, Guillaume likes to spend time outdoors. He regularly practices squash, rowing, skiing or running but he also enjoys sport as a spectator. Cooking and cinema are the other two activities he likes to do and with the help of which he likes to escape from everyday life.
